Description

砚形制为椭圆形，砚面雕刻出醉酒的李白怀抱大酒瓮的形象，酒瓮主体被开为砚堂，酒瓮口被开作砚池，较深。李白着广袖深衣侧身于酒瓮右端，雕刻中对人物的塑造以夸张形态处理，李白双臂及头占据砚额部分，身体在右侧砚唇处渐隐于酒瓮之后，整个图案设计随形就势，对人物的精心刻画与对酒瓮的了了处理，使得画面繁简有度并合乎实用。原配红木砚盒，盒盖上有螺钿工艺做出的心形开光，以折枝梅花为饰。此砚设计别出心裁，形式新颖，将传统文化与文房用具巧妙结合，是一件不可多得的案头文具。
