Description

砚呈正方形，形制小巧，手感轻盈，砚堂、砚池连为一体。做工考究，镶嵌精致。砚面以百宝装饰罗汉图，罗汉坐于洞石之间，面目慈祥。四周砚缘嵌银丝，贴合均匀，丝丝入理，古朴典雅，颇具意韵。此类造型轻便的木砚通常为随身砚，整器小巧玲珑，精工细作，置于案头颇添雅趣。砚中遗留少量朱砂痕迹，应为古时皇帝外出研磨朱砂所用随身砚。
