留青一法乃取竹材之筠，刻纹为饰，剔除纹外之筠，留竹肌为地。竹筠之纹饰，约略高于竹肌。竹筠为竹材之肤表，色杏黄，年久则显蜜蜡黄。竹肌呈刷丝纹，愈久色愈深，渐近琥珀色。此臂搁采用留青浅浮雕而成，主图为杂宝图，边缘装饰螭龙纹，包浆完美，品相一流，为难得的文房用品。
