胡开文，字柱臣，号在丰，著名徽商，徽墨行家，“胡开文”墨业创始人，清代乾隆时制墨名手，徽州绩溪县人。先于休宁、屯溪两处开设“胡开文墨店”。 这组“苍珮室”制彩墨，有石绿、石青、朱砂、胭脂等色，可以用于绘画，但更多的是为收藏而制。“苍珮室”为胡余德（1762-1845）在其父病故后，遵遗嘱继承胡开文墨庄，获得“苍珮室”商标专用权，是胡开文墨业承前启后的鼎足人物。他精通制墨工艺，曾耗巨资派人去京搜集圆明园、长寿园、万春园蓝图，聘请名家绘图、刻模、制墨。“苍珮室”墨屡充贡品，名震天下。
