释迦牟尼是目前流传最广泛的佛陀造像形式，成道之姿，左手于腹前结禅定印，右手结触地印，自此释迦牟尼证道成佛，此尊佛陀头部螺结高耸，宝珠顶严。面相方圆，神态傲然，眉间饰白毫，目光下收，隐含威仪，眉与鼻梁成一线，耳长垂肩，脖环数痕，身着袒右肩式袈裟。佛像身挺厚实，肩部线条浑圆结实，肩宽腰缩，端坐于双层仰覆莲花座之上，莲座上下边缘均饰以连珠，莲瓣厚实饱满，瓣尖排列整齐且微翘。佛陀形象庄严，不言自明，明了一切众生皆有如来智慧德相，人人皆当成佛，皆能证得无上正觉。由此近观工艺之美，不仅成道之姿生动传神，铜质细腻之外，更体现出明代特有的铜造像风貌。
