盖拟取荷叶之状，曲线起伏平缓，给人以流动的韵律感，盖顶隆起，钮作瓜蒂形，盖口出沿，顶端隆起部分自钮处作出筋条棱为饰。罐短颈，溜肩，上腹饱满下腹斜收，矮圈足。外壁自颈部向下至足端以整齐排列的竖直出筋装饰。为元代龙泉窑典型工艺。器造型稳重大方，浑厚淳朴而又不失秀媚，釉色苍翠丰腴，光泽感强，细腻温润，质感甚佳，极富设计感。荷叶盖罐为中国瓷器之名品，因器盖作成覆荷叶状而得名，其器型始见于南宋龙泉窑，至元代较为盛行。
