A large Chinese carved amber snuff bottle 19th Century The large bottle carved to both sides with cranes, prunus branches, and taotie masks; together with a faceted tortoiseshell bottle, the underside with a four character Tongzhi sixth year mark (equivalent to 1866/67) and probably of the period, four faces incised with four characters which may be noted as: Qian kun tong yi; Hua Xu hui sheng; Guang zhao yue ri; Tian he Shun min. H: 3 3/4 in.
