Dimensions: 10-1/2" H x 6-1/4" Dia. Chinese Ru typeporcelain reward vase. Potted in vase, thick and tall, globular lower body, tapered gracefully toward straight tall cylindrical neck, with emerging two rings lines, slight flaring mouth rim, raised on a small round foot base with slight concave. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in masterfully covered in an even coat of a deep blue glaze which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white under glaze. The blue glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.
