Dimensions: 11-1/2" H x 6-1/8" Dia. Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, YongZheng vase. The Porcelain potted in large vase, thick and tall, globular body, heavy on the shoulder, gentle tappered to a prominent tall cylindrical neck, close rim, raised with short splayed foot base rim and slight concave. The exterior decorated with hand-painting in cobalt blue underglazed, depicted of flowers blooms interspersed scrolling interlocking tendril and foliage. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the under glaze grayish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black. The porcelain displays a subtle sheen as the light ricochets across the finely glazed exterior. Mark on under base, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, YongZheng Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
