器物为乾隆官窑仿宣青花折枝花卉纹斗笠大碗，器壁加彩，呈现出一种无与伦比的华贵之感。碗敞口外侈，折沿，斜弧腹，圈足，状如斗笠，故称作斗笠碗。碗形端正，造型取法赵宋制器之美，以简驭繁，清逸灵秀。胎薄体轻，胎骨致密，通体施白釉，以青花描绘，折沿内外绘折枝花草纹和回纹装饰，碗内外壁绘石竹花、菊花、茶花、牡丹花等折枝花卉，圈足绘一周卷草纹。构图严谨疏朗，运笔潇洒自如，各色花枝交错分布，彼此留空开阔，因循章法绘制，予人视之倍觉清雅悦目。青花发色浓艳，造型简洁典雅，其纹饰及造形由宣德时期的葵口碗演变而来。相同器见南京博物院清乾隆黄地青花折沿碗。
