A HUMAN SKELETON, partially intact, Iron Age, c.400 BCE, partially excavated, in a foetal position, in a glazed mahogany case, 53cm wide 93cm deep 33cm high The skeleton was come across during chalk quarrying in Sewell and excavated by the Manshead Archeological Society. Photos of the excavation are enclosed within the case. Provenance: The Manshead Archaeological Society, Dunstable, Bedfordshire.
