Painted Leather Box, Tibetan China, 16th/17th century style, rectangular with slanted sides, with brass fittings including handles to two sides, hinges on back, joints on edges, and hasp with loop on front, the hinged cover with lobed edges, the front decorated with two floral mandalas bordered with a floral scroll band, the two sides with food offerings in a rectangular panel, red-painted back, unpainted bottom, 5 3/4 x 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 in.
