Hardstone Archaic-style Gui-shape Vessel, China, with two dragon-inspired ring handles to sides, the body decorated with two bands of carved taotie-style masks and animal masks, gray stone with russet to gray markings and fissures, with a round carved wood stand, a sticker reading "ex. coll. MMA 1983 deaccession" on base, vessel ht. 3, dia. to 7 1/8 in.
