Near Pair of Satsuma Vases, Japan, 19th/20th century, outcurved hexagonal form with tubular neck and flanged rim, resting on a raised bisque foot, the body decorated in six panels with three floral designs alternating with three landscape designs with legendary figures, between densely patterned bands and scrolls, empty rectangular mark on base, ht. to 14 1/2 in.
