荷葉蓋罐為元代龍泉窯的創新器形，此拍品“龍泉青瓷荷葉蓋罐”整體高度30cm，造型雄渾敦厚，氣勢博大，釉色與器形均是標準，不可多得。罐短頸、豐肩、腹下收。蓋中央微微隆起，上設鈕。蓋沿起伏，形似荷葉。蓋罐內外均施有青釉，釉色柔和青綠淡雅，色澤碧綠如翡翠，溫潤如春水，厚胎厚釉，圈足底部留有二層胎的製作痕跡，蓋露胎處和底露胎處有赭紅色，俗稱“火石紅”根據其造型、紋飾、釉色、胎質等方面分析，可定為元末明初時期風格產品。
