梅瓶是中国陶瓷史上最为著名的瓷器造型，被誉为天下第一瓶。窑变釉创烧于清代雍正时期，是在唐英督制下仿宋代钧窑釉色的一个新品种。它是一种高温颜色釉，釉色间有红、蓝、紫等色，状若瀑布，灿若晚霞，瑰丽动人。本品造型挺拔秀美，胎质细腻，保存完好，是文房案头陈设佳器。
