Here is an attractive salt-glazed stoneware pitcher, attributed to Westerwald, Germany. This salt-glazed pitcher features deep blue cobalt and incised designs. 19th century. The pitcher has a crack running from the rim to half an inch up from the based on the back of the pitcher. It does not impact the cobalt design, however. The pitcher measures 8.5 inches tall.
