A beautifully painted Union Civil War Drum. Painted on the front is a wonderful spread-winged eagle with a patriotic shield on its chest with a curling riband in his beak that reads “REGT. U.S. INFANTRY.” Above the eagle are 21 stars and a sunburst. This decoration is hand painted on a blue field. Paint appears to be all intact. Measures 16 inches in diameter x 10 inches tall. Original drum head, however bottom is not entact. The drum head does have a small break, as pictured. The drum rims are intact, but not attached the drum in its current form.
