(Hoadley) Black she had been a life long Shelby area resident. Mrs. Grove was an employee of the former Wilkins Air Force Depot and was a well-known local artist who demonstrated her paintings at various art shows throughout Ohio. She was a member of the Auburn Baptist Church and the church's missionary society. A homemaker, she was a charter member of the Kingwood Brush and Palette Society where she was show chairperson of the arts and crafts shows and had taught art at the Plymouth Library. An accomplished braided rug designer, she did demonstrations at many craft shows in the area and at Kingwood Center.
