香港佳士得2017.10 LOT3这件玉剑璏制式规矩，纹饰经典，具有西汉风格，看似与同类剑璏区别不大，但细看却极具特色。此剑璏边缘的兽面纹独特且立体，抚摸有明显的凹凸感，瑞兽嘴部特写刻画，极为写实，鼻子、双眼、眉均凸起，连牙齿都有细致表现。剑璏表面浮雕勾连云纹，与兽面风格一致，具有立体感。整体风格古朴。 通过对比观察博物馆和市场中出现的同类玉剑璏，侧面兽面及顶面勾连云纹均为平面化处理，或阴刻，或去地浅浮雕，纹饰多平整，但此件剑璏雕琢手法独特，同样的纹饰呈现出不一样的纹饰特效，属于百里挑一的独特作品。此玉剑璏满身红沁，温润可人，别具一格的兽面纹令人眼前一亮。
