白玉质，长方勒子，双面工，有通天孔贯穿器身，纹饰采用双阴线外侧大斜刀的技法，线条流畅，琢磨之放射状痕迹利落洒脱，清晰可见。西周晚期风格。 西周时期有一类人龙纹饰极为特殊，纹饰以一面坡技法雕成，特别是器物边缘的处理，有连续的凹凸棱角，这种棱角犹如人的嘴、鼻，如果与平面上的纹饰结合起来，形成类似人面的结构，是西周玉器中的典型纹饰。 本件玉勒纹饰线条刻画流畅果断，形象不易辨识，具有西周人龙纹遗风。玉勒侧面有双阴线纹，推测可能是将本来用作柄形器的商代玉料改制而成。
