钤印：吴兴 、见山草堂石碑质为浙江湖州之长兴灰岩，奇特的是此灰岩全身布满黑色梅花斑纹，煞是美观。碑长33.7厘米，宽20.5厘米，厚4.5厘米，重约4公斤。 沈维基，浙江海宁人，乾隆时期书法家，政治家，其书法属“二王”一路，介于行草间，潇洒飘逸，宛转绵延，颇负时名。 杨岘，字见山，浙江归安（今湖州）人，清代著名书法家、金石学家、诗人。 此石贴为浙江湖州之长兴(李家巷)化石灰岩(在国际地质界有名)所制，通体密布梅花斑，纹饰绚烂，别具意趣。沈维基自诗自书，杨见山勒石珍藏，诗书刻俱佳，实乃案头文玩佳器。
