A LARGE AND HEAVY LONGQUAN CELADON VESSEL AND COVER China, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). The imposing Yuan-Ming style vessel and cover molded in relief with scrolling foliage, the lobed cover in the form of a lotus leaf. Both covered overall with a finely crackled glaze of sea-green tone thickening on the undulating cover rim and foot and stopping irregularly at the foot, exposing the buff ware.
