A LOBED FAMILLE ROSE 'PHOENIX' PORCELAIN BOWL China, Late Qing Dynasty to Republic period (1880 - 1930s). The deep bowl with broad lobed rim is hand painted on the exterior with bright enamels to depict two phoenixes amid dense vegetation and rockwork, the interior with a pair of pumpkins. Bearing an apocryphal Daoguang mark to the underside. Condition: Good condition with minor wear to enamels and a short hairline to inner rim (1cm). Provenance: German private collection.
