A SMALL DOUCAI ENAMELED PORCELAIN 'WUFU' DISH China, 19th - 20th century. The shallow rounded sides painted in bright enamels to the interior with a central roundel enclosing five bats (wufu), a particularly auspicious symbol, in flight above green crashing waves and below a gnarled tree growing sideways from a craggy rock and bearing longevity peaches, framed by a double circle, and to the exterior with evenly spaced bats in groups of two and fruit growing from leafy branches, the recessed base with an apocryphal underglaze blue six-character Yongzheng mark within a double circle. Condition: Very good condition with minor wear and firing irregularities. Provenance: British private collection. Weight: 92.7 g Dimensions: Diameter 11.8 cm
