A MOLDED AND ENAMELED PORCELAIN 'COURT LADY AND CHILDREN' VASE, REPUBLIC China, Republic period (1912-1949). The sides rising from a short ring foot to a waisted neck with trumpet mouth, the shoulder applied with two lion masks with mock ring handles, the body and neck painted in bright enamels with a scene showing a court lady and two young children under a small peony tree, one of the boys holding a twig with a flower and leaves in his hand.
