A YIXING CERAMIC TEAPOT AND COVER China, 18th century. A small model of a Tibetan ewer, duomuhu, the cylindrical body potted with a raised lobed ´crown´, simplistic handle and spout. Molded with auspicious symbols and peony stalks, the lid shaped as a chrysanthemum. Condition: Very good condition, the cover with a small, hardly recognizable restoration. Provenance: Dutch private collection.
