SIX NEAR EAST STONE SEALS This lot comprises of six schist and stone stamp seals from ancient Near East (4000 BC-2000 BC or later) with geometrical and faunal engraved impressions. Three of them with figural knob to the top, all pieces with a hole to suspend them on a necklace or around the wrist so that they were always available when needed. Some of them could also be pinned to the garment. Condition: Good condition commensurate with age. Provenance: Estate of Dr. Ernst Eichler (1932-2018), Vienna, Austria.
