大明宣德年制 此炉光素无饰，铜质精炼，器形简雅。炉色呈蟹壳青，皮壳光润。炉敞口平沿，直筒身，足胫内收，圈足。炉壁两侧饰对称戟耳，弧线流畅，线条曲中有直。炉底开框，内铸刻“大明宣德年制”六字三行楷书款。据《宣德彝器图谱》记载，戟耳炉仿照宋瓷款式而制，因其耳如兵器中的戟头而得名。戟为御赐刑部尚书及左右之物，寓意执戟捍邦卫国，平准天下正义。
