大明宣德年制 簋式炉系由商周时期青铜簋仿制而来，因其形制古雅，造型别致，而为明清士人所衷爱，并以其形制炉。此炉敞口束颈，口沿一圈连珠纹，肩足饰莲瓣纹，颈肩之间装饰双狮耳，威武有力，扁鼓腹，圈足，足墙外撇，腹部、底部点金，圈足内开框，内镌刻“大明宣德年制”六字三行楷书款。狮自古即为纳吉、彰显权贵之瑞兽。据《宣德彝器图谱》载，狮耳炉为宣德年间御赐兵部尚书及大都督等军职人员之器形，取其威猛之意。又文殊菩萨骑狮，故狮耳炉适宜供养。
