Thomas Fielding (1758-1820), after Henry Thomas Alken (1785-1851) The Meeting; Getting Away; Full Cry; The Death hand-coloured aquatints, the set of four plates, published by J Watson 1827 images 29.5 x 47.5cm (4) Provenance: Farm House, Farm Street, Mayfair. Condition report: All have discoloured to a light brown, on a couple the discolouration is a little patchy. All appear to have acidic mounts with correlating staining. Some spots of foxing on each. 'Getting Away' has more foxing and is a little speckled. A crease in the sky by the trees on 'The Death'. None seen outside of glazed frames.
