Two famille rose plates,18th century, one emblematic of 'Air', and painted on one side with a nymph chasing the rainbow above Juno in her peacock-drawn chariot amongst clouds, above a cupid playing a drum, the bearded Aeolus with a billowing pink drapery, seated at the other end of the rainbow beside another cupid hiding in a box, the other emblematic of 'Earth', and painted on one side with Ceres seated beside the naked Bacchus, Cybèle and Flora behind them in her chariot drawn by two lions on a tether held by a cupid waving a stick, above five cupids filling baskets of flowers in a hilly landscape,both with stylised scrolling borders.
