Antique Tibetan Monk- Quality casting- 18thC or earlier. 5.25 inches tall, 6 5/8 inches tall on a custom stand. Very well cast. Came from a very impressive New York collection that was forced to be broken up due to a divorce. I picked up a number of my all-time best pieces from that collection, of which this is the last one in my possession. Was originally attached to a separate base. Worthy of the best auction houses. larger than its height suggests as with its original Bass it would have sat 8 in tall.
