16thC MASSIVE Burmese Ava Buddha Face made of ancient bricks covered with stucco/clay. The original figure woulg have sat or stoof as a full figure, covered in a thick lacquer and then gilded. His presence would have filled the temple 500 years ago. Face alone is larger than life at 18 inches tall, 14 inches wide, height on custom stand is 23 inches. An impressive survivor that commands any space it occupies. The original Buddha would have probably sat or stood 8 to 10 feet tall. RARE.
