Extremely fine very large, fine, and very commanding 12/13thC style Cambodian bronze Naga Buddha. From the lifelong collection of a world traveller and international rug dealer. I purchased five early Laos buddha from his estate, all of superb quality-plus this one Cambodian Buddha. Age is hard to tell for sure, but I believe it is 18/19thC, and possibly older. I do not believe it is a 20thC emulation. -Measures an impressive 22 1/2 inches x 10 inches across x 4 1/2 inches deep. HEAVY, large statue with fine sculpting, casting, and finishing. A centerpiece to any room. I've only seen a few of this type in this large size this good in 30+ years of collecting and selling.
