A Victorian brooch with an Indian painted miniature watercolour on ivory, of the Qutab Minar, Delhi, beneath a glazed cover. A plain rubover setting with a hollow 'D' section outer frame with a Victorian photograph of a young girl seated on a carved chair, beneath a glazed cover verso. 65 x 52mm, 39.86g Condition report: Light surface marks commensurate with age. Pin a little bent. The outer frame tests as approximately 9ct gold, although the construction of the setting may be gold cased or rolled gold. Without deconstruction we cannot be sure.
