A diamond and sapphire fingerline cluster ring, c.1935, with a pair of pear cut diamonds, rub set to the centre, with an old European cut diamond, rub set at each side. An outer scalloped cluster of circular mixed cut sapphires at each end, all rub set in shallow white collets with yellow underbezels, split shoulders to a plain shank. Head 25.00 x 13.30mm, 5.35g. Finger size P½ Condition report: Tested as approximately platinum, 18ct white gold, 9ct yellow gold and 9ct white gold. Probably a later shank. Scratches and marks consistent with its age. Gemstones bright and lively. Minor marks to the table or crown facet edges under 10x magnification. Table and crown facet edge wear. Variations in the colour/ tone and saturation of the sapphires. One sapphire loose.
