An American carved jade plaque necklace, c.1925, with a carved and pierced Chinese jade plaque depicting gourds. The plaque suspended from a scalloped bar with textured fetter chain to each side, with pairs of 4.5mm jade beads. Marked 14K. Centrepiece including bar 40.00 x 14.10mm, 5.98g Condition report: Soft solder to the chenier through the plaque. Surface reaching inclusions. Light surface marks commensurate with age to the mount. Jade plaque 2.80mm deep.
