Made of three bands of embroidered woven fabric, a forehead fabric stripe and two side stripes starting to the centre of the headband alongside the nose and the cheeks. the veil is held at the back of the head with a string connecting to the side stripes with a small chain. the side stripes are decorated with ottoman coin pendants. on the sides a later addition of temple pendants made of colourful fine beads. general good condition. many wear marks consisting of the age of the item and indicating it was in use. forehead fabric stripe dimensions: 4.5*23 cm
