China, 19th/20th century, a bulbous censer with simplified chilong handles, six-character Xuande mark on base, with matching stand, a pear-shaped vase attached to a bronze stand, and a compressed lozenge-form vase decorated with bamboo with matching stand, overall ht. to 8 7/8 in.
Provenance: Purchased by Ben L. Baker and Alice Smith Baker of Long Branch, New Jersey, while they established a mission school in the early 1900s in Swatow, China.
