清 大型銅鎏金壇城 Tibetan. Cast as a hollow circular base, the vertical repousse sides decorated with the Eight Buddhist Emblems divided by sanskrit characters, the upper surface cast with dense pattern of ocean waves , the center modelled with a stepped pyramid and topped with a pagoda representing the sacred buddhist mountain. 18th/19th century. 壇城，源於印度佛教密宗，系密宗本尊及其眷屬聚集的道場，古代印度密宗修習“秘法”時為防止“魔眾”侵入，遂築方圓的主壇，安請諸等於此以祭供，此器造型碩大，工藝精湛，值得珍藏。 來源：洛杉磯私人藏品，其家族於1980年代從香港好萊塢古玩店購入，傳給現賣主。
