款识：“慎德堂制”四字二行楷书款 拍品与故宫博物院藏品纹饰相同，为道光皇帝万寿节御用瓷器。据档案记载，道光二十二年（1842）九江关监督普琳恭进了此类名为“洋彩海鹤蟠桃”的大碗、中碗、五寸碟、九寸盘，以贺皇帝寿诞，依拍品尺寸，应为档案所载的大碗。拍品器形规整，内外均以粉彩为饰，碗心绘暗八仙描金团寿字，口沿饰桃蝠纹，外壁绘黄地粉彩西番莲纹，四个开光内分别为荔枝、佛手、石榴、寿桃四种瑞果，搭配仙鹤、红蝠、燕来红、南天竹果、灵芝等，纹饰贴合贺寿之意，釉彩搭配鲜亮，吉庆富贵。参阅：《故宫博物院藏慎德堂款瓷器》，故宫出版社，2014年，页38至41，图2
