款识：<宣德> 圆口，直颈，鼓腹，下急收，圆底。色泽红铜，莹润饱满，重量适中。 宣德炉，简称“宣炉”，是由明宣宗朱瞻基在大明宣德三年参与设计监造的铜香炉，历代皆有仿制。宣德炉是中国历史上第一次运用风磨铜铸成的铜器，基本形制是敞口、方唇或圆唇，颈矮而细，扁鼓腹。它最妙在色，其色内融，从黯淡中发奇光，内腔亦有欣赏和断代价值，反映了匠心和时代的审美情趣。
