A George III mahogany, satinwood and purplewood banded secretaire bookcase Chequer banded and inlaid with boxwood and ebonised lines, the rectangular ogee moulded cornice above a pair of astragal glazed doors enclosing three adjustable shelves; the lower part above a secretaire drawer as two simulated drawers enclosing six pigeonholes and six short drawers and a baize lined writing surface; above three long graduated drawer on a shaped apron and outswept bracket feet, 121cm wide, 53cm deep, 222cm high.
