A pair of George II silver salvers by Dennis Langton, London, 1733 Shaped circular with pie-crust border, on three leaf-capped scroll feet, flat-chased with scrolls, anthemions and diaperwork panels around a central coat of arms in baroque surround,  the arms comprising three estoiles or cinquefoils argent on gules ground to sinister, three rosettes argent between a chevron argent on sable ground, each inscribed underneath with scratch-weight ‘45oz.=15 pn. ye pair’, 43.5oz (1349 gm).
