此对狮子精铜所制，神情威武，头大脸阔，鼻孔微张，龇嘴含舌，毛发卷曲有致，镌刻精细，流畅自然。皆颈披莲纹绣带，系铃铛，四肢劲健，饰螺旋纹。因“狮”与“事”、“嗣”谐音，所以历史中常以象征着“事事如意”的双狮并行。此对铜狮尺寸适宜，经数百年仍得以成对保存，完整如初，似有神通之力，颇为珍贵。
