铭文：上海县儒学祭器正德六年柒月吉日知县徐潭置 说明：徐潭是浙江定海人，字惟静，号东洲，自幼聪明睿智，弘治六年考上进士，弘治十七年考上举人，正德二年任上海知县，为官光明正大，清正廉明，备受百姓称颂。铜爵杯前有狭长流槽，槽口略仰，后部有圆弧状尾，流与口之间有双立柱，柱顶饰圆钮，深圆腹，杯腹部錾刻紧密回纹一圈装饰，纹饰清晰，线条流畅犀利，下有三个棱形长足，整器造型秀美精致，做工细腻，工艺精湛，色泽古朴，颇具神韵。
