碗敞口，弧壁，圈足，造型沉稳而不失灵秀。外壁遍施红釉，色泽均匀，明艳宜人。内铺白釉，釉质和润，素雅洁净。器足内亦施白釉，并落青花三行六字篆书款"大清乾隆年制"，书体严谨典型。
红釉为明代以来的传统品种，唯以发色纯正匀净之器为上佳珍品。此碗器形别致，发色鲜艳，釉光亮可鉴人，是乾隆时期官窑红釉的精品之作。
