笛是中国最具特色的吹奏乐器之一，距今已有8000余年历史，堪称最原始的乐器。古代称其为“a”，多以竹为材制作。此件为福建德化窑所作，竹节式，仿竹节处竹须亦历历可见，造型秀丽精巧，通体施白釉，呈象牙白笛孔圆滑，排列有序，规整周正。釉水清润明亮，具玻璃质感。上端有V形吹口，箫身共有七孔，音孔有六，五个音孔朝上，一个音孔朝下，根部有两个出音孔，古称“凤眼”。笛身刻文：玉管声中传情绪，瑶琴曲里寄春情。白鹤鸣语。钤刻印文：苏长清造。北京故宫博物院清宫旧藏之中，亦有同例德化瓷制品可为作比。
