|佛龛黄花梨质，呈四平式，形制规整方正，中部开光，内壁掏空，可用于供奉佛像，此类制式较为独特。弧形腿，腿间壶门劵口。整器造型古朴，秀美沉静，包浆自然。据《观佛三昧海经》卷四记载，……之须弥山有龛室无量，其中有无数化佛。《大毗婆沙论》卷一七七记载：底沙佛至山上，入吠琉璃龛，敷尼师檀，结跏趺坐，入火界定。现今各大佛教遗迹中，如印度之阿旃塔，爱罗拉，我国云冈、龙门等石窟，四壁皆穿凿众佛菩萨之龛室。后世转为以石或木，作成橱子形，并设门扉，供奉佛像，称为佛龛。佛龛之物是特指专门放置佛像的地方，一般置于屋舍吉位之上，起到护佑家宅、人事平安的作用。
